If you want to buy Pokémon TCG Cards in Spain with complete security, POKEMILLON is the right place to go. The online store specializing in merchandising boasts of being reliable when it comes to buying original Pokémon TCG Cards , without any counterfeit in sight.
While it is difficult to give a definitive number, we estimate that there is a total of 13,255 Pokémon cards released in English, and a similar number 13,097 released in Spanish.
The letters Holographic Charizard cards from the Base Set collection with the first generation print are very valuable, but there are also Base Set cards without a shadow in the frame of the Pokémon's image, known as Base Set Shadowless, which are a special rarity and increase the value.
The condition of the cards is measured by sending them to an external company that is responsible for giving them a grade; this is called grading a card.
The most expensive Charizard card sold was a Base Set Shadowless Holographic Charizard rated 10 by Becketts for $325,000.
In Spanish there are 3 different types of boxes mainly:
- The Boxes of 36 Envelopes are the ones that have the best price per envelope.
- The Boxes of 18 Envelopes, which are the ones with the best price ratio.
- Thematic Boxes or Cans, which contain promotional cards.
Hit Points (HP), formerly known as Life Points (HP), is a number that all Pokémon cards have and that indicates the amount of damage that Pokémon can receive before it is Knocked Out.
It usually appears in the upper right corner of the card, to the left of its type.
Each Pokémon card is associated with a collection and an expansion.
Typically four normal expansions and two special expansions are released each year, and all cards released from the same expansion have the collection's symbol to identify them.
It is usually found at the bottom of the card right next to the card number within the collection.
On older cards the collection symbol is on the right, in the middle of the card, just below the image.
The main thing that distinguishes a fake letter from a real one is the typography (font).
Pokémon cards have a very specific style of letters and numbers, while fake cards are either much more square or much more rounded, as there are different types of counterfeits.
If the card is lighter or darker in color (most commonly it is lighter on the front and darker on the back) it is possible that it is a counterfeit, especially if the text and drawings are not clear and appear blurry.
Sometimes the width can help you find out if it is a fake card; if the card is wider than normal, it is very likely to be fake.
